In his role as Senior Vice President of Operations for Davidson Hotels, Joe oversees the operating standards, practices, and procedures for the Hotels portfolio, delivering optimal results measured by the Pillars of Performance.
A seasoned hospitality executive with more than 35 years of leadership experience spanning hotel operations, portfolio management, asset optimization, and organizational development, Joe has built a reputation for driving operational excellence, strengthening owner relationships, and developing high-performing teams across both domestic and international markets. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations for Remington Hotels, where he oversaw a portfolio of 125 hotels representing more than 18,000 guestrooms and 9,500 team members. During his tenure, he led a team of regional vice presidents and corporate support leaders while guiding strategic initiatives focused on operational performance, talent development, guest satisfaction, and long-term value creation. Prior to Remington, Joe was Senior Vice President of Operations for Schulte Hospitality Group, where he was responsible for an 80-hotel portfolio and strengthened service delivery, owner engagement, and organizational alignment. Earlier, as Vice President of Operations for TPG Hotels & Resorts, he led major renovation and transition projects and delivered significant profitability improvements while reducing management turnover through focused leadership development initiatives. Previously, Joe also held senior leadership positions with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, and InterContinental Hotels Group. He has extensive experience working with private equity firms, institutional investors, and individual owners to maximize asset performance and long-term investment returns. Joe earned a B.S. in Hotel/Restaurant/Institutional Management from Johnson & Wales University.
